Season of Giving 2025
Consider Living Sky Innovation Fund in Your End-of-Year Charitable Giving! Take part in our annual “Season of Giving”.
Living Sky School Division proudly supports students with diverse learning needs and strives to provide every child access to quality education. Our commitment is clear, remove barriers, open doors, and create equitable opportunities for all learners.
What if we could help provide every student with the tools they need to grow and learn?
To make this vision a reality, this years’ Season of Giving campaign will equip students with the technology and equipment they need to overcome delays and disabilities, foster independence, and unlock their full potential. With the right tools, students can communicate more effectively, comprehend reading materials with confidence, and fully engage in the learning process.
The budget the cross-functional Supports for Independence (SFI) team manages is limited. School staff identify the needs that students have and make applications to the SFI team. At that point, the SFI team have to determine which requests they can fill with the funds available.
This is where your support could make a difference. Last year, the SFI team ran out of funds in January due to growing student needs. With your generous support, we can continue to break down these barriers and empower students to succeed. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by the end of December. Every contribution brings us closer to making sure that no student is left behind. Donations over $100 will receive a charitable receipt and be listed on our website donor page at www.livingskysd.ca/seasonofgiving.
Below are examples of supports frequently being purchased by the SFI team and the cost of each item. Information about how to donate is also included. We would be so grateful if you were to think of us for your charitable giving during the holiday season.
Together, we can create a future where all students have the opportunity to learn, grow, and shine. For more details about how you can get involved and help support the Living Sky Innovation Fund, contact:
