General Information
Living Sky School Division recognizes the right and responsibility of parents residing within the school division to direct the education of their children in their home and offers support in many ways. Students participating in home-based education are students of the school division, and are required to be registered as such.
Home based educators shall observe regulations as stated in the Ministry of Education document: Saskatchewan Home Based Education Policy and Procedures Manual 2016-17. The Superintendent for Home-based Education will monitor home-based programs, and provide services to parents and/or guardians.

Registration
Parents must complete the Notice of Intent and Registration Form for Home-based Education and submit their form along with their Written Education Plan to fulfill requirements for registration each year.
The registration form and education plan should be submitted by August 15th of the school year. Registrations will be processed by September 30th of the school year. Parents can register anytime throughout the year, but will not qualify for full funding.

Ministry of Education Support Documents:
Grade 10, 11, 12 Credits
To graduate from high school (grades 10 through 12); a student must register in and complete 24 credits from programs recognized by the Ministry of Education.
