Ronna Pethick represents Subdivision 4 - Unity, Cut Knife and Hillsvale Colony. With a passion for education and the students she serves, Ronna has been a trustee for over 20 years and currently serves as the board chair. She strives to help all students reach their full portential no matter where they live or their personal circumstances.

School boards are publicly elected to govern Pre-kindergarten to Grade 12 education in their school divisions and are essential members of local government. They ensure that the wishes of the community are reflected in the division's schools and make decisions that shape the education of Saskatchewan's children. The Living Sky School Division Board of education is governed by ten members. The first board was elected in June 2005. Six board members represent rural areas in subdivisions one through six, one member is from the Town of Battleford and three members are elected from the City of North Battleford.
